You’re an LGBTQ+ undergrad or postgrad student and you’d like to pursue a career in law – but you’ve got a lot of big questions. Questions like, will you feel welcome in the legal sector? Will you feel supported for who you are? How do you find the firm whose culture and work match your interests? Come to DiversCity in Law, where we’ll answer all that and more. For its 10th year, our free, virtual event is jam-packed with panels, workshops and more, all with representatives from leading City law firms. It’s your chance to learn all about the legal sector, get advice from experienced LGBTQ+ colleagues, and begin to see which career paths and firms might fit you best. Ultimately, DiversCity in Law is all about giving you confidence – whether it’s welcoming you to the legal industry, or supporting you in applying to top law firms. The sessions throughout the event will be designed to bust myths, give support, provide honest first-hand experience, and open up the world of legal careers in the City. If you attend the event, you’ll even be able to sign up to our mentoring scheme, putting you in touch with a colleague from one of our participating firms, who’ll help guide you on your path.
