Fast streamers work across the Civil Service, typically gaining experience of working in different government departments, as they are developed to become our future leaders and managers. The programme offers unlimited career potential to reach the very highest levels of the organisation. As a fast streamer, you will be challenged and stretched from the outset and will be able to apply your skills and learning in a variety of contexts. 

We welcome graduates of all ages and backgrounds, and from across any degree subject. Whichever scheme you join, you’ll help drive forward government operational services, and policies that make meaningful change for millions of people. From clean energy, cyber security and defence, to health, housing, international relations and more, you could help tackle some of our biggest challenges.

Join our introductory session on the 20th October to hear first hand from Fast Streamers, how the application process works and general tips on how to succeed with the graduate scheme.

All students from any age, background, and across any degree subject are welcome to attend these sessions to learn about Civil Service internships and graduate schemes but we believe the sessions would be most useful for students in their final year who are looking to apply for the 2024 graduate intake.
