NHS Scotland Clinical Scientist Training Programme Information Session – Genomics/ Molecular Pathology
This information session is about the NHS Scientist Training Programme (STP) for Genomics/Molecular Pathology in Scotland. It will be delivered by three final year current trainees and it is a great opportunity to find out more about the role of Clinical Scientists in Genomics in the NHS. By the end of this session you will understand what the training programme involves, will know when to apply, how to apply and be aware of what you will be required to demonstrate throughout the process. After the presentation there will be a Q&A session.
When? Friday 17 May 2024 (3pm-4pm)
Where? Online – Zoom - Link will be sent out the day before the event.
Who should attend? SIPBS students from 1st year to PhD (Any PGT or PhD student with UG degree that meets eligibility requirements – example UG degrees can be found on Prospects https://www.prospects.ac.uk/job-profiles/clinical-scientist-genomics) are eligible to attend however this may be of particular interest to students in their final year considering a career as a Clinical Scientist.
