This session will be delivered by a Medical Physicist and Clinical Engineer and will cover the following points:
- Current Training Scheme in Scotland
- Clinical Scientist/Engineer Careers in the NHS
- An overview of working in MRI
- An overview of working in Clinical Engineering
This is a great opportunity to find out more about what is involved and to hear about the experiences of the presenters; you will have the opportunity to ask questions so this session will be of interest whether you are intending to apply now or are simply keen to find out more about this career path.
Who should attend?
The Scottish Medical Physics & Clinical Engineering Training Scheme will be recruiting candidates with a First- or Second-Class Honours Degree in Physical, Computing or Engineering Sciences for entry to the training scheme for Medical Physicists and Clinical Engineers. You can apply if you are in your final year/PGT/PGR, however all year groups are welcome to attend!
This session will take place online via Zoom. Zoom details will be sent to students/graduates who have registered to attend.
